sadiekiller
ok, so yet again my OSx86 partition is unaccessable (got a new power supply and it for some reason refuses to power all of my dives at once? two Sata one Pata with an Sata converter). so im installing OS X in vmware like i always do. and like it always does, it freezes up on certain checkpoints during the installation. the time before you get a GUI. the most common two freeze points are ACPI: System State [S0 S5] (s0) ACPI: Button driver prevents system sleep I can only get it to fully boot by luck of the draw. i restart the virtual machine about 30 times and it might get through once. Does anyone know why the hell it does this. its nothing that big since i can get by it, but it would make installing OS X much less painful. also any help with my hdd's would be appreciated. joe75
ok, so yet again my OSx86 partition is unaccessable (got a new power supply and it for some reason refuses to power all of my dives at once? Bummer, never get a cheap PSU Did the bios get set to default. Check the settings. Sata drives pull power from all rails, try unplugging the ones that are just storage and see if its the power draw Try unplugging what you can, if after , you only have the essentials plugged in and it still wont boot , the PSU may be bad. joe75
Thermaltake has never been good but their trying to improve. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817163108 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817711001 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817103437 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817121012 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817189008 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817703005 All are good, take your pick. If you can swing the extra $30, get the PC Power & Cooling I can say my Hiper Type-R is great and have had no complaints, it almost over powered. I have 5 drives, a decent video card, 2 DVD drives, TV tuner card, multiple USBs plugged in, and 6 fans 80mm and over
