R@my
Hi ! Build: Gigabyte x99 UD3 Intel 5820k GTX 970 SSD Water-cooling I try to install el capitan with Chris1111's Installer ( universal OSX v5.app ). In clover, i write -v npci=0x2000 and nv_disable=1. It's work, but when it restarts it-self, i can't boot on SSD. I read a lot with fakeCPUID, but i don't know how to fix it.. I try this topic http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309717-haswell-e-5820k-5930k-installation-guide-with-full-speedstep-working/but at step 7c it doesn't work.. Any suggestions? Thanks R@my. Dwarfy
Hi R@my, I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean. Did you get to installer or you didn't? Why are you looking into FakeCPUID? R@my
Thanks you for your interest ! I installed clover in UEFI. I saw clover panel when I start the computer for the first time. Only "INSTALLER" can be boot. Bios settings: Fast boot: Disabled Check Other OS Storage Boot Option Control: UEFI only Other PCI device ROM priority: UEFI Legacy Support: Disabled XHCI hand off: Enabled EHCI hand off: EnabledPort 60/64 emulation EnabledUSB Mass Storage Driver Support:Enabled. Intel VT-d/x: Disabled XHCI mode Enabled When I start computer, i see clover. ( The computer boot on the USB key. ) In clover option, i enter -v nv_disable=1 npci=0x2000. Sometimes, it goes to Mac installer. I erased my ssd with disk utilities, and install osx. 13 minutes later, at the end, osx said that will restart. It backs on clover, with 3 boot: USB, SSD el capitan, and recovery HD. When I start el capitan, it wrote errors. List of errors I saw, for the first boot (first part of mac installation) : "Service IPC key is no longer respected. Please remove it" "library/launchagents error, nos such files or directory" "Architecture couldn't be recognized! PMC_BOOT_0 =<ptr>" "getCPUIDinfo this is an unkow PCU model 0x3f" "power management may be incomplete or unsupported" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/313128-x99-5820k-no-boot/#findComment-2252680 Share on other sites

In your earlier post you mentioned you had 5820K, now you're saying you got Xeon E5. FakeSMC is needed regardless, as far as I know. R@my
Hi! I try this method, it worked, but not all. I didn't do all correctly, so I retried it. But I moved my mac, and unplug the SSD when the installer el capitan worked... And now, I can't instal el capitan on it.. I let you see the error. There are some problems with disk location and name. Could you help? Again..? ( I also saw that I have installed clover on my macbook.. I reinstall all when hackintosh will be ok.... ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/313128-x99-5820k-no-boot/#findComment-2254128 Share on other sites
R@my
So, I had to re-instal all my MacBook, and the installer could find my SSD correctly ! I'm not good in Hack..... I have followed this guide http://www.insanelym...960x-cpu/page-1 And I realized that when I re-instal OS X on my mac, I re-download OS X, the new one ( 10.11.6 ). For the time, I can't Instal Nvidia. I try this " Nvidia Web Driver - 346.03.15f01 " but i had black screen. ( http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306535-nvidia-web-driver-updates-for-el-capitan-update-07182016/page-1?hl=+nvidia ) An other thing, el capitan recognize my ram, cpu, USB3, but not internet. I have sd card reader, but I don't know where can i find kext. Any idea for those? R@my
It doesn't worked... Say me if I'm right : On kachintosh, I deleted the files AppleInteIE1000.kext in Macintosh-HD/System/Library/Extension and I re-instal it with kext wizard in S/L/E. Then, I repair permissions and rebuild cache. Restart the computer. Nothing else?
