GBK.Xscape Posted October 26, 2006 Share Posted October 26, 2006 well even if the dvd was burned at a slow rate of 2x then it wouldnt slow down the installation but maybe speed it up because there were no errors in writing the disc. it tooke about an hour to install. theSpam Posted October 27, 2006 Share Posted October 27, 2006 When I had installed OSx86, I used the VMWare->Native method, which took ~40 mins to install. I guess the speed was due to the fact that I had mounted the disc image instead of burning it onto an actual disc and using that to install.
