MattOzOz
Hello, I'm planned to buy a Dell Optiplex 7440 with a integrated touchscreen to build a photobooth for events. http://www.dell.com/fr/entreprise/p/optiplex-24-7000-aio/pd Dell say the touchscreen is a HID USB compliant device with Windows, but if it a real HID device, I try to believe it can be work on OSX installation, isn't it ? Is there any confirmation about that from your experience ? If I can avoid a Touch Base driver (very buggy driver) to use this touch screen, it can be great. I'm not need a multitouch screen so HID management as a simply mouse can be enough. I found very old topic about ModBook (Macbook transform to touchscreen laptop), so it's not the same challenge... Thank for any response aout this ... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312244-touchscreen-works-on-all-in-one-dell-optiplex-7440/ Share on other sites
midi-sama
For now you can only use the TB drivers until someone in this forun or somewhere in the world releses a better touch driver that uses the already working driver from apple (yes, after 10.9 os x can be used with touch but only one point and hard to make clicks). So i think os x does have a very limited touch support.
