Hello,

I'm planned to buy a Dell Optiplex 7440 with a integrated touchscreen to build a photobooth for events.

Dell say the touchscreen is a HID USB compliant device with Windows, but if it a real HID device, I try to believe it can be work on OSX installation, isn't it ?

Is there any confirmation about that from your experience ?

If I can avoid a Touch Base driver (very buggy driver) to use this touch screen, it can be great. I'm not need a multitouch screen so HID management as a simply mouse can be enough.

I found very old topic about ModBook (Macbook transform to touchscreen laptop), so it's not the same challenge...

Thank for any response aout this ...

For now you can only use the TB drivers until someone in this forun or somewhere in the world releses a better touch driver that uses the already working driver from apple (yes, after 10.9 os x can be used with touch but only one point and hard to make clicks). So i think os x does have a very limited touch support.
