Lenovo M58 SFF 10.9.5

This is a guide for people with older systems like mine (Core 2 Duo Exx00 etc.)

who wish to run Mac OS X.

 

 

Specs:

 

 

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300

Motherboard: Lenovo G31T-LM2 (it reads this on the board itself)

GPU: nVidia GT 610 (My own addition)

RAM: 4GB DDR2

 

 

Steps:

 

1. Create a Mac OS X Installer by your preferred method (Make sure to use Clover EFI, though).

 

2. Set up the BIOS (change settings to AHCI, etc.)

 

3. Boot into Mac OS X with the cpus=1 flag and the -v flag.

 

4. Install Mac OS X.

 

5. Boot into Mac OS X and set up the computer.

 

6. Install FakeSMC.kext and install Clover to your hard drive.

 

7. If you have a 610 like me, use inject nVidia.

 

8. Enjoy Mac OS X.
