I personally have nearly the same CPU as you (E7300) in one of my machines which is running Mavericks Use Nawcom's ModCD to boot from a Snow Leopard DVD and install it from there. I'm pretty sure that the nVidia 240 is natively supported (the 210 is, anyway) with the GraphicsEnabler=Yes flag.
