BrockJon
Hello everyone,I have a new build and really want to install OS X Yosemite on it. Build is as followsAsrock x99 OC Forumla moboIntel i7 5960x (OC'd to 4.4)64gb Dominator platinum DDR4Asus GTX 980ti strixI am using my MacPro to create the boot USB with a competing installer (5.2.0). Everything copys fine then I add the Kernal extensions for the 8 core processor. Then I boot from USB on the PC and I get into the competing boot screen but I only have Windows reserved and NTFS options available from my other hard drive. I am not given an option to boot into OS X. I have checked pretty much every guide online for the X99 install and 5960x and followed all steps to the tee but to no avail. I hope someone has an answer for this. Thank you all for your time and expertise. Brock

BrockJon
I believe my friend used an installer I apparently can't name on this board, so I just called it a "competing" installer. Any help you can offer, like how to do this install with your system would be great.
Dwarfy
We don't help out with unsupported install method. And to help an x99 user, I'd need to know what install method you and your friend used.
