OSXtasy Posted October 25, 2006 Share Posted October 25, 2006 Hi all, I'm sure alot of us have seen (at least i have) that after the 10.4.8 upgrade that coreduo temp is now reporting that the core duo is not throttling anymore like it was before, and also that temps are a little higher/battery time is lower. Has anyone got any info on this situation??? Is it just an issue with coreduo temp that will be fixed(and how long till then), or is it that 10.4.8 really does throttle the cpu less(I'm almost contantly at 2.0ghz, although actual utilization stays low which is why i'm wondering if coreduo temp is just reporting wrong since 10.4.8 update), and drain the battery faster.
