wolfie81 Posted March 29, 2016 Share Posted March 29, 2016 I noticed if I turn off HW monitor and iStat on 10.11.4 my computer runs buttery smooth. When I turn them on, it becomes laggy. Ive got the latest version of HW Sensors here http://www.hwsensors.com/releases Ive tried to rollback to previous versions but I still have the same issue. Anyone else? Edit: Upon further experimentation, it appears its the system data fetch refreshing that seems to take a hit onto these programs. Fake SMC issue?
