Hi there! I am running a Hacktinosh, booting with Clover UEFI. 

 

In order to reset a Hackintosh/Mac password and access all files all that is required is booting into recovery and typing "resetpassword" into terminal. Preventing this with a real Mac requires setting a firmware password or enabling FileVault. Neither of these options work with a Hackintosh. What are our options for security and preventing this?

Cmos password on PC bioses are similar to Mac's firmware password... 

About FileVault, I thinks is not compatible with Osx86 on the boot drive, but should work on data drives, but it slows down the system and there are tools to crack it.
