ghouston13
Ok, so I've been researching this problem and haven't been able to remedy it. I have 10.11 installed on a Dell Optiplex 7010. Core i7 3770, 8gb ddr3, 128g SSD. OS X seems to run just fine, I don't have my graphics fully installed correctly, yet. My sound either, but I'll get that done in due time. I just finally got the OS up and running. The problem I'm having is that I can't boot without the clover USB. I have read that I can copy everything in the EFI folder from my boot disk to the EFI folder on my OS X install and that should work. I've done this and from what I can see, my computer isn't seeing my main hard drive as a UEFI device. When I press f12, I see my NIC and USB devices listed under UEFI, my HD is listed under Legacy. I have UEFI turned on in my bios. I'm not sure what else to do. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! Gavin Ok, so I've been researching this problem and haven't been able to remedy it. Did that, no need for USB anymore. Now, how do I tell Clover to just go ahead and boot straight into OS X? mickeyd453
You need to set the default volume in config.plist <key>DefaultVolume</key> <string>Macintosh HD</string> Or whatever your OS X partition is called Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/310968-el-capitan-cant-boot-without-usb/#findComment-2216513 Share on other sites
