grandosegood Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 hey guys, so after following rampagedev's guide again, but using the 'debug applehda', i get sound from rear speaker and front speaker ports. have not tried mic yet. i can get sound by either using this kext or by following toleda guide, which involves using 10.9.5 applehda and the ssdt-1 for x99. then i use the realtekalc patch and two other patches. both methods result in working speaker ports but optical audio does not work in any case. in one reboot, it seemed to work for a moment then nothing. suggestions? grandosegood Posted February 16, 2016 Author Share Posted February 16, 2016 update: optical audio appears to be picky, may be fixed in subsequent released by either toleda or rampagedev team. using 'debug applehda' and ssdt from rampagedev's x99 dmg restores some functionality to it.
