Tim
Hello. I recently bought this computer: INTEL CORE 2 DUO E6400 ARCTIC COOLING FREEZER 7 PRO SOCKET 775 ASROCK CONROEXFIRE-eSATA2 OCZ PC2-4200 GOLD DUAL CHANNEL 1 GB (2 x 512) SEAGATE BARRACUDA 250 GB 8 MB DE CACHE SATA II COOLERMASTER CENTURION 534 BLACK MSI 7900GTO 512MB SAMSUNG DVDRW 18x SH-S183A BLACK SATA LC POWER SILENT GIANT V2.0 550w GREEN POWER I've tried to install windows xp sp2 + suse linux 10.1 + mac osx 10.4.7. I've used this tutorial - http://cybernet1.blogspot.com/2006/10/how-...s-mac-os-x.html. But something always go wrong. In my last try, i created 4 partitions: - 1 60GB for windows (PRIMARY) - 1 30GB for linux (PRIMARY) - install without the swap partition - 1 35GB for mac (PRIMARY) - 1 logical with the rest of the disk space. I installed the windows; next i installed the linux; next i installed the MAC OS; after the reboot, the MAC OS removed the GRUB bootloader and started himself automatically. Next i tried to rescue GRUB with the Suse DVD. Now i have the GRUB but the MAC OS couldn't be initialized; it gives this error: - chainloader (hd0,2)+1 HFS+ partition error Could someone help me? There is other good tutorial for my situation? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/31058-triple-boot-how-to/ Share on other sites

cbmkgd
with grub for osx, use: title OSX root (hd0,2) makeactive chainloader +1 if doesn't work, try with chainloader --force +1 as last line. Tim
Well. I installed the Acronis Boot and it worked! But when i choose linux it still goes do Grub :-) I will stick like this for a while... Later i will see GRUB in more detail. Thank you guys! cbmkgd
But when i choose linux it still goes do Grub And when choosing osx, it will go to darwin bootloader; chainloading. You can make the illusion it goes directly in both these by putting time delay to 0 if you like (or 1-2 seconds to leave you the chance to interrupt in case you want boot options; this is for both grub and osx).
