iMessage on my Hac is forwarding SMSes back & forth with my iphone, which is great, but it's always doing them as SMS & is not forwarding iMessages.

What really bugs me most about this is the messages also don't sync when i connect to WiFi or wake up the machine. On my Macbook Pro, if i wake it from sleep, or connect my iPhone to WiFi, imessage goes nuts and it gets all the messages sent and received by my iPhone, and then it's synced. that's what I want. but the Hac doesn't do that.

Anybody else experience this?

My build:

Yosemite

Clover

5960X

X99 Deluxe

ahhh thanks for trying. it is & it isn't. it worked in terms of fixing this imessage problem, but it killed my video! i had to access the machine via Remote Desktop bc nothing was coming out of the monitors.

I've had to have Mac Pro 5,1 def to be able to see video on monitors.. :/

any other ideas?

Aaaah, sorry, wasn't clear enough... My bad!

Use your smbios (iMac 10,1 was mandatory for that topic because of DSDT's for Optiplex), but follow the mini guide below that on how to have Board Serial Number and SmUUID.

Or, since you have Macbok Pro, you can use it to clone info for your hack to get iMessages working.
