FLX
I have a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H mobo and GTX 680 card, but I'm having trouble getting Clover to render in full 1920x1080. The bootlog shows the custom EDID being picked up, but after that it's not able to set the resolution: 0:106 0:000 CustomEDID ok 0:106 0:000 LoadDrivers() start 0:106 0:000 Loading FSInject-64.efi status=Success 0:107 0:000 Loading OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi status=Success 0:107 0:000 Loading OsxFatBinaryDrv-64.efi status=Success 0:107 0:000 Loading VBoxHfs-64.efi status=Success 0:108 0:000 - driver needs connecting 0:108 0:000 Video bios patch requested or CustomEDID - forcing video reconnect 0:108 0:000 2 drivers needs connecting ... 0:108 0:000 PlatformDriverOverrideProtocol not found. angelol
It may be your VBIOS fault. That means that it may not have 1920*1080 resolution in it. Also do you use your Intel gfx for anything? If you don't, you can try to disable Inject Intel in ur config.plist incase may it conflicts with your gtx 680. I don't know for sure, I'm just guessing for the intel theory. FLX
Just disabled the Inject/Intel, unfortunately this didn't make a difference
iarao
GTX 680 normally works oob, it may be the monitor, does it support 1920x1080 resolution? Also try latest web nvidia drivers:)
FLX
Maybe I wasn't clear in what my problem is The actual OS (OSX and Windows) are running at full 1920x1080 resolution, I'm indeed using the latest alternate nvidia web drivers on OSX. OSX is fine, however Clover has a crappy resolution.
angelol
Have you installed csm plugin for clover? Edit: I can't find it in your bootlog so apparently u may have to install it. And I think I'm pretty sure that's your problem
FLX
Have you installed csm plugin for clover? Edit: I can't find it in your bootlog so apparently u may have to install it. And I think I'm pretty sure that's your problem I don't have a csm plugin for clover. I do have CSM enabled however; when I disable CSM I don't get video output whilst booting and it decides to skip Clover and boot Windows instead. In order to put this back I need to reset my CMOS to get CSM back to enabled. I've been looking online and I can't find this CSM plugin, where can I find more info on this? Thanks, FLX Ps: I am connecting to the monitor via DisplayPort After a bunch of searching I took the hint and solved it by dropping CsmVideoDxe-64.efi in the EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI folder. After I found out that this worked I also discovered that it now works without PatchVBios, CustomEDID and InjectEDID. Thanks for all the help guys! angelol
Yeah, that's the plugin I was talking about. Happy to hear you fixed it.
