PaladineUK Posted December 4, 2015 Share Posted December 4, 2015 So I have managed to install El Capitan on my Lenovo W510 using #####/##### guide but I am something of a novice and I am having a few problems. I have the system booting fine and it it runs nice and fast but the following are not working: Keyboard Touchpad WiFi Dongle (ASUS USB-N10 Nano) Backlight Controls USB 3.0 Ports Audio Webcam (probably a bunch of other things not working either) Funny enough the NVidia Graphics are working very well. I presume I have to install some kexts or some other files but I really do not know where to start so if anyone has any ideas I am all ears (or eyes). holyfield Posted July 6, 2016 Share Posted July 6, 2016 I got to work almost everything with El Capitan 10.11.5 (15F34) on Lenovo W510 (Nehalem i7-820QM), except the sleep. It keeps rebooting when goes to sleep. So I'm seeking the solution, USB3 work fine, except it does not show on System Information, but USB3 drives are loaded properly. For wifi you have to change the wifi card or to use USB wifi dongle. I'm using Edimax USB dongle.
