Been following the other 13 page thread on the current installation status and I keep getting stuck on this screen no matter what I try.

My settings are as follows:

Hardware:

MSI Z170 Gaming M5

Intel i5-6600K

Geforce GTX 980Ti

16gig DDR4 RAM

BIOS Settings:
Vt-d disabled

Primary graphics is PCIE-E

Sata controller is in XHCI

OS mode is windows 8/10 WHQL

Serial port disabled

UEFI boot mode

(I am unable to attach my config.plist and DSDT, so uploaded to google drive).

Clover boot loader version 3320 if that helps.

I have attached my clover plist and the extracted DSDT.aml. I use no other kexts (other than pike's IOAPIC table overrides).

Any ideas on what may be going wrong here? Its stuck in this screen for hours (I tried waiting for 4-5 hours to see if it continues installation).

The only other thing I did was remove vboxhfs-64.efi and add hfsplus.efi instead.

Cheers!

You have a lot of unnecessary patches in your config such as the HaswellE patch. Try my config: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/309236-asrock-fatal1ty-z170-gaming-itxac-i5-6600k-thread/

Thank you! I got jancarlos' EFI too, trying that at the moment, will try your config too if that doesn't work out

Thanks a lot guys, finally got it up and running yesterday night, with help from all of your configs and everyone else's research!

Theres one thing thats bugging me that is the TPLink WDN4800 not being detected at all, going to look into it today. Wondering if anyone else had this problem in their skylake setup?

This is what I got so far, got the nvidia drivers to work but nothing else shows up on DPCIManager. Am i doing something wrong with kexts (for TP Link WDN4800?). Not able to figure out whats wrong.

Here is my config.plist

Here is my DSDT

Do let me know if y'all have any ideas on this

Cheers

DarwinDumper_2.9.9_AMI_X64_3320_Cap_Mierin.zip

Tried a lot of different solutions but still no WiFi (even though TPlink TLWDN4800 is supposed to work OOB) and the same card works perfectly fine on windows. The interface doesn't show up on the system report at all and the bootlogs from DPCIManager show that the Atheros was found. Still super stumped on what could be wrong here

From IOReg explorer, the acpi-path for this card is IOACPIPlane:/_SB/PCI0@0/RP08@1c0007/PXSX@0. I thought maybe its a DSDT problem and tried overwriting methods for Device (RP08) from Andres's DSDT, his ACPI path was (IOACPIPlane:/_SB/PCI0@0/RP04@1c0003/PXSX@0) but again nothing has changed, so I don't think its anything related to the DSDT. Will continue exploring!
