is there a difference between the two? When I install the VoodoPS2Controller.kext does it already include the VoodoPS2Touchpad? and further, the Git also has 2 files for Synaptics (my pad brand), so do I uninstall the PS2Controller and compile my own Synaptics driver?

Thanks guys, I'm pretty confused

Those drivers give limited functions to the trackpad/clickpad, it's just 2 fingers scrolling, clicking, 3 fingers swipe programable as keyboard shortcuts (go to keyboard prefpan > Shortcuts > select an action and swipe).

We all hope a miracle happens but since our kyb/tchp is SMB/PS2 connected, some actions may be impossible or hard to make (ask RehabMan for the cause).

The VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext is a plugin of VoodooPS2Controller.kext in the pre-built package.

Read the README for installation instructions (linked).
