kc2013 Posted October 21, 2006 Share Posted October 21, 2006 All, I have an ASUS P5W Deluxe with the latest BIOS with JaS 10.4.7 (Probably will go to 8 shortly) and for the most part it's working OK, except when I want to reboot. What happens is when I reboot the system I'll always get a "Trying to find root device" lockup, unless I go into the BIOS and disable/enable the JMicron SATA controller (which I'm not using), and I'll either have to do it 2 times or actually power off the system before it'll boot correctly.. Needless to say this is pretty annoying so I'm curious if anyone else has run into this and what if any your solution was? Seems like this board is a popular choice which is why I picked it up..
