coque599
I currently have a fully working yosemite 10.10.4 installation with clover and i am planning on doing a clean install of el cap. My yosemite system definition is Mac Pro (Early 2008) and my system specs are: i7 4770k 4.4Ghz 16 GB Ram Asus Maximus Vi Hero Z87 Gtx 460 I've seen that most people with El Capitan installation use an iMac definition. 1) Should i use an iMac definition or that doesn't matter? 2) If i change my system definition do i need to change the serial number or other numbers? 3)When i have a fully working El capital installation, can i enable SIP or do i need to keep using the code 0x3 (SIP Partially Disabled)? HBP
look up your model vs the supported models is it on the list? then look up an iMac with the comparable i7 arch and modify your numbers as needed to emulate it. Example. I have a: Z87X-UD5 th i7 4771K gtx 660 16 GB ram I have always used the iMac 14,2 Profile. I am currently using both 10.10.5 and 10.11 (dual booting) and SIP works fine (you can set it to %77 full off) or just kext's off or any setting you want I leave it disabled for now. As far as I remember you must leave the kexts in disabled mode, or on restart it will flush anything not signed and leave you with a bricked Hack.
