bpeugh Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 Okay, I am thinking of getting an Asus P5W DH motherboard and an E6400. I was wondering what speeds people have overclocked this to and what problems have arisen. I think I have seen some people get up to about 3.5GHz. I also have the Asus eax1600XT silent v3. My concern is that if I did get the board I still would be limited on the overclock because of the video card and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on that. equilibriumuk Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 I am at 3.2hz with mine, not bothered clocking higher, but the mobo's seem to max out at 420-430 without mods.
