rjjd Posted August 21, 2015 Share Posted August 21, 2015 I have an older system: ga-h61m-d2h-usb3, with an i7 2600 2e generation cpu, 4GB ram ddr3 1033 mhz, and an amd radeon 5750 1GB video card in it. No uefi possibility is on this mobo. Can someone help this newbie with the successfull installation of e capitan on this nice dektop. I think i have to use the chameleon methode? and do i need an dsdt file for this, Can someone provide me an working manual how to install anf configure this configuration ? VirusX Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 have you tried the installer from Chris? http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307003-clover-os-x-el-capitan-usb/ It uses clover as bootloader - with clover you probably won't need a DSDT since clover can patch during boot...
