Safe mode boot always fail while starting installation record in Clover. W/o safe mode i get no graphics (FakeSMC missing?) Boot args are kext_dev_mode=1 Rootless=0 Is there are problems with HD 4000 in 10.11? Should i use Kext Injection in Clover for FakeSMC? mac09hack Posted August 5, 2015 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Unless you are using this as a pre-installed version of ElCapitan, I would wait until the final version comes out in September. The demo version needs much work to be a full version. mendietinha Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 if your hd4k is already set in yose, do the following: install el cap from the installer itself, when reboot, use the following fake id> 0x01660004 and boot without qe ci. after all done, boot again with the same fake id, do that until you upgrade to the version you want, then copy intelfbcapri to the desktop and reinstall the kext, rebuilding caches and setting proper permissions. then you can boot normally. but as said, it is better to wait for the final version.
