RehabMan has made a nice summary on how to do it from multiple operating systems: https://github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch/wiki/How-to-patch-your-DSDT Also from Windows, you can use Aida64: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK8sHsQ-76Q Use the Engineer edition. After extracting the DSDT, and perhaps also the SSDT tables, you (or someone else) can patch it to match your system. Only Alc885 Not working. With xeon E5450, no luck. I will edit dsdt. But I don't know what patches need? How to learn?
