I have looked around the forum, tried to looked up my video card in hopes someone else has the same build as me but of course there are so many different variables. at the risk of getting flamed for posting in the wrong section or not doing enough on my own, I need help with at the very least starting this process over. If possible I'd like to salvage this attempt, but if it is easier for the community, I'm willing to start fresh. PC specs in signature: What I've done: -I installed OS X 10.6.3 on my desktop using a purchased retail copy of snow leopard -Used ##### -Downloaded the combo update from apple.com -Installed ##### -restarted computer Post-install: -boot verbose gave me screen in unnamed.jpg -boot ignore caches gave me grey apple logo screen -boot single user gave me the screen in unnamed2.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
