shrieken213
I'm playing back HDMI audio through the GeForce 210 (G210). The card does not work through AppleHDA; I have confirmed this over and over again, and others have arrived at the same conclusion. Therefore I'm relying on VoodooHDA for the moment. However, on 10.10.3 VoodooHDA desyncs after ~1 second of playback. It lasts longer as less data travels through: 32kHz 16-bit lasts longer than 48kHz 24-bit. The issue is the same as this one, but in my case it's terribly worse. The solutions on that thread do work for me. Right now I have 2 0.5-second silent WAVs of 44.1kHz/48kHz looping over and over in VOX to restore sound, but the driver cannot switch bitrates fast enough to overcome my issue. I've tried 2.8.6 and 2.8.7. Somehow I've sourced a 2.8.8d1 driver, but I'm not sure if that's official. I'll try it out and see what happens.
