macguyver
I downloaded the Tiger-x86.tar.bz2 file (1.3Gb) from a torrent and I extracted it using the latest WinRAR 3.50 The image file should be 6Gb, but it gives a CRC Error after 4gb. I downloaded the file again, and again i could extract only 4gb. My net connection is not that fast, it takes a whole day to download 1Gb, i already wasted a lot of time. I found a 956mb ISO file for Tiger-x86, but someone told me all ISOs are fake... Can anyone please tell me how i can get the REAL image or iso file! there are a lot of fake files floating around on torrents... Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. arsenalsam7
snake, are you running fat32? if so, that's why you only get 4 of the 6 gigs...i had to convert to ntfs to do the DD...but now i am running the dev dvd with release 1 patch, it's a much better install than DD

Do i need to have NTFS to extract this 6gb file?
