i downloaded jas 10.4.6 a while back burned it and used it on a laptop

it worked fine but i wanted to install it on one of my other pc's that is lacking a dvd drive

so i want to do it in vmware so i used osx on my g5 and converted the dmg to a iso but when i use it in vmware i get

“/com.apple.Boot.plist not found

any ideas for a solution

thanks

Try emulating the DVD disk with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%, and tell VMWare to use not an iso, but to use the emulated disk drive.

Or, if you did it that way, try using vmware's select-image-to use as disk way... whatever it's called.

It could be your DVD drive not recognizing the media or bad/cheap media. I had this same error on one drive and not on another. Then I burned the ISO using on of my good DVDs (Taiyo Yuden produced, TYG02 for those keeping score at home.) and had no issues with either drive. Prior to that, I was using Phillips DVDs which are cheapo CMC Mag produced discs. It took A LONG TIME to load on my other computer and I now figure the media was probably why.
