anarchy99 Posted October 18, 2006 Share Posted October 18, 2006 i downloaded jas 10.4.6 a while back burned it and used it on a laptop it worked fine but i wanted to install it on one of my other pc's that is lacking a dvd drive so i want to do it in vmware so i used osx on my g5 and converted the dmg to a iso but when i use it in vmware i get “/com.apple.Boot.plist not found any ideas for a solution thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mMiniImManN Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 Try emulating the DVD disk with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%, and tell VMWare to use not an iso, but to use the emulated disk drive. hate Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 It could be your DVD drive not recognizing the media or bad/cheap media. I had this same error on one drive and not on another. Then I burned the ISO using on of my good DVDs (Taiyo Yuden produced, TYG02 for those keeping score at home.) and had no issues with either drive. Prior to that, I was using Phillips DVDs which are cheapo CMC Mag produced discs. It took A LONG TIME to load on my other computer and I now figure the media was probably why.
