mMiniImManN Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 Try emulating the DVD disk with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%, and tell VMWare to use not an iso, but to use the emulated disk drive. Or, if you did it that way, try using vmware's select-image-to use as disk way... whatever it's called. hate Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 It could be your DVD drive not recognizing the media or bad/cheap media. I had this same error on one drive and not on another. Then I burned the ISO using on of my good DVDs (Taiyo Yuden produced, TYG02 for those keeping score at home.) and had no issues with either drive. Prior to that, I was using Phillips DVDs which are cheapo CMC Mag produced discs. It took A LONG TIME to load on my other computer and I now figure the media was probably why.
