james341 Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Hello Need some help - I've just updated Yosemite to the last 10.10.3 beta and I've lost the audio. I have Clover configuration that works like a charm with dual boot with windows 8.1 and i don't want to install again Clover on the HDD so i will not lose the Dual boot working configuration. Is there a quick way to restore the audio by manual install the needed kext? I have the Gigabyte GA-H87M-HD3 and i don't really know which or where to download it. 141o432993 Posted March 18, 2015 Share Posted March 18, 2015 I recommend you do fix your audio with Clover kext to patch and add your HDAConfigDefault into your FakeSMC. This kext is tested to work with alc887 in 10.9, you can extract layouts and config from it.
