Anyways, xbench reports my hard drive access times at 1mb/sec I don't think it was this slow when i had 10.4.6 I did a fresh install of Jas 10.4.7 with all the amd patches etc. and its still slow I found out that AppleGenericPCATA or something was loaded, and I deleted it, but its still slow By the way, OSX is installed on a usb 2.0 drive what can i do? its so slow that i can't install anything, including macvidia drivers etc. i was able to before in 10.4.6 thanks heres a pic of the extensions stuff if it helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
