Further more -v is already in the chameleon config.plist so I am essentially entering -v twice. Isn't -v supposed to be for verbose only? It will show the booting progress on the screen in text mode. Basically it is using for identifying issues on boot. It is not required in case of normal booting. You remove the flag from org.chameleon.Boot.plist file and try to boot in normal mode. Then update the status here. rearhound Posted February 23, 2015 Author Share Posted February 23, 2015 org.chameleon.boot.plist. It's Chameleon, I could never get Clover to work. OK, had -v kext-dev-mode=1 in plist. Removed the -v and it boots. Essentially I was entering -v -v kext-dev-mode=1 to get it to boot, because I had to manually enter the -v at startup. Now it boots! I still do not understand, because everytime I tested it I had the same result. Thanks for the help. Where do I need to post for assistance with battery issues? When I click "Show battery status in menu bar" the icon appears briefly then disappears. Is this normal or is it a kext thing?
