litmaj0r
I followed the instructions to get my sound working from here (http://forums.osx86project.org/lofiversion/index.php/t18642.html). Upon restart the onboard sound works fine for the speakers only. If I put any speakers or headphones into any of the sound jacks, sound continues playing on the speakers and is not output to these jacks. It would be nice so i could use my iPod Macro around campus without having to carry around the USB SoundBlaster audio card. Any revelations on this issue? I cannot locate any hardware information in the system profiler for such a thing as an 'audio hub' or something that would need to be configured. BTW, i have an HP dv9000 Pavilion notebook with ALC882 sound. lunchandamovie
Not sure if this is helping, but I know that audio has been a big issue for OSx86. I don't know one user here that got audio input on it. My front headphone jacks also don't work, so I guess we'll have to live with it until something happens out of the blue since we've waited this long.
