thedubiousdubber
So I recently installed Ozmosis and had everything up and running. I used migration assistant to move my data over from TM backup and now i get kernel panic. I was using Clover at the time of the backup so now I'm guessing it is having issues related to that. Please help any ideas for a fix? Here is output on screen Sorry for the gigantic sideways picture, my message board skills don't include much more than walls of text. HBP
the KP is happening because you don't have kext-dev-mode=1 flag enabled. so your kernel is flipping out with the non signed KEXT's. HBP
thedubiousdubber
That's what someone else suggested too. Is there any way to add this boot argument without reinstalling? Or do I have to reinstall and add the boot argument before migrating data? I didn't realize TM backups copy over kexts, but I suppose it makes sense
HBP
go into the shell, (use f12) and edit your boot arguments. 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82:boot-args=slide=0 kext-dev-mode=1 not sure what the command in your version of the shell is to edit the nvram is, so check the command list with: help b HBP
