installing Mac OS X could not be completed

I got past the language part eect using the "paperclip" thingy. Now i have an installition error. could you guys help?

 

File written at the end is "localhost crashdump[94]"

 

On Dell 630

915GMS/GML

Intel

 

theres a part saying "localhost crashdump[94]: 0 <<000000000>> 0xffff0840_memcpy + 160 (cpu_capabilities.h:186"

If the installer quit saying that there was an error and installation couldn't be completed, then that usually means there is a problem with the DVD.

 

Try reburning it at the slowest speed. If available, try a different brand or type of media (dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd+rw)

 

Perhaps the lense in the DVD drive needs cleaning.

 

Perhaps the DVD drive needs updated firmware if it isn't the latest.

 

You could try to install using VMWare. It installs to your partition and you don't need to use VMWare to run OSX once it is installed. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=11314

 

Lastly, the iso you downloaded could be corrupt - try downloading it again.
