Skaryon Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 Hey there, I’ve inherited an old PC from a friend and am trying to get OSX working on it. Here are the specs: Mainboard: Intel DH55HC CPU: Intel Core i3-530 GPU: HD5770 PowerColor R84FE-TI3 RAM: 8GB DDR3 Mushkin I got it to install and boot, but can’t get the GPU working (it shows up as a HD5000) properly. On my 1080p Screen, everything seems to display just fine, but when I hook it up to my 2560x1080 ultrawide display (via DVI, HDMI refuses to work), it does display at the right resolution, but everything is really jaggy and the sceen flickers. Tried different applicable frame buffers (Vervet, Eulemur...) etc. GE=Yes works with them. Any ideas on how to do this? Should I use clover over chimera etc. (couldn't get clover to boot so far)?
