odie1778 Posted October 15, 2006 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Well i got my new hackintosh system up and running perfect and the best part is that everything in my sytem works perfectly... including my broadcom wireless card (which appears to be a huge deal judging by the amount of toutorials for it) and it took only 3 days of reading and goofing off and breaking it to test limitations... First i want to say that this site has given me and unlimited amount of info to accomplish this goal. I have installed it now 15 times to ensure i can do it perfectly everytime, i have also learned a great deal about how the driver system works for macs. And have also learned short cuts on my own that assisted me in editing them with out ever opening a terminal. ive also learned how to make installation files with out a devolpment kit and no compiling. OSX is a amazing os and im acually surprised it isnt more main stream than it is. I just want to say thanx alot for the info and all the help...... and as my first post ever you can bet it will not be my last... i will be sure to share any new these i come up with and any short cuts or info i can provide at any time.... just ask and thanx again BTW Im running OSX on a compaq presario m2010 that i got for 350.00 a year ago at compUSA xbench gave me a score of 40.98 However im looking for ways to tweak the perfomance of this system so im welcoming any suggestions. i ask anyone who can assit to help me tweak to please do so or point me in the right direction... i will also be willing to share any of my kexts files to people who are having trouble. but i believe i cant post them so please email me and i will walk you through the steps.... A personal thanx goe to you for that great install dvd..
