Hi there,

I'm not new to the scene, however I can't seem to figure this one out. Build: Asus z87-k, Intel i7 4770k, GTX 650, 8GB RAM.  I'm currently running OS X Mavericks perfectly fine, no issues. However, initially when attempting to install Mavericks on this, I had the same issue I'm getting now trying to install Yosemite. The computer does not recognize the USB at all. If I try to boot from it, it skips right over it and goes to the HDD/SSD. I used MyHack before, and for some reason it recognized it when using MyHack to build the USB. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure if there's a certain way that it builds the USB, but. I can't use any of the methods to install Yosemite because it never recognizes the USB. Thanks.

Hello

So try make your USB bootable with MyHack....

Or post confi.plist or org.chameleon...(i don't know what bootloader you're using) of your bootable usb in here.

Well, how can I make the USB bootable with myhack if it only supports 10.9? I can try to select the 10.10.app or something, but I'm worried that'll mess something up.

@d620osx, I believe I had to format mine as MBR too, and so that's what I did, still skips right over it this time.
