rev4turbomonster
Hi guys, Hoping you can help with this one please. I have got Yosemite running very well with all funtionality apart from handoff which doesn't concern me to much as I don't think I would use it that much I mainly use my desktop for creating anything work wise and use the phone and ipad for surfing the net and sending a few emails. What I want to be able to do it use the hack for taking and making calls. The function works as intended however the audio through my web cam was poor so I tried a usb mic which is better as it can sit nearer to me but isn't fantastic is there a way of boosting the volume for my mic or is there a particular microphone I should get without spending a fortune. Thank you for your help Matt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301784-facetime-audio/ Share on other sites
p.H
As far as I know, you can set the volume taken in from the mic from the System Preference -> Sound panel. Other than that, maybe you just have to consider a decent new mic. rev4turbomonster
I thought that might be the answer. This is why I bought a usb microphone but it doesn't seem any better. I'm wondering about adding in the logitech c920hd webcam which has dual mics and would also be an upgrade to the webcam I have has anyone used this with success Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301784-facetime-audio/#findComment-2073789 Share on other sites
