Kyle F.
Hey guys. Whilst reading the readme file for Mieze's Realtek RTL8111-Binary 1.2.3 kext I noticed that it says the following: - Verify your bootloader configuration, in particular the kernel flags. Avoid using npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000. If I avoided to use "npci=0x2000" as a kernel flag for my hackintosh setup I either get stuck at the Apple logo with "waiting for root device" or "PCI Configuration" or something. Regardless of which ever it is, my booting hangs and is unable to proceed without "npci=0x2000" as a boot flag. What am I to do to get this working? Thank you. alexanderq
An if you use those flags is the kext or your card working OK? If everything is OK then avoid that warning Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301288-realtekrtl8111-binary-123/#findComment-2066323 Share on other sites
