KazWolfe
Hello everyone! I have a Intel i7-4500U with an integrated Intel HD4400 Graphics Card for my Asus Q550-LF lspci output: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Device 0a16 (rev 09) System Profiler output: Intel HD Graphics 4400: Chipset Model: Intel HD Graphics 4400 Type: GPU Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 64 MB of Shared System Memory Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x0a16 Revision ID: 0x0009 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1920 x 1080 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes I can not get the acceleration to work for this device, no matter what I try. The screen also tears a lot in most apps. The FramebufferAzul kext hangs the system during boot. All of the data above is correct, my screen is in 1920x1080 mode. I am running Niresh Mavericks 10.9.0 with Clover as my bootloader. I am able to do DSDT patches (provided I have a patch file), if that helps. How can I enable acceleration and stop the screen tearing? Thanks in advance! vusun123
Niresh distro removes all graphics kext so that you can boot. We recommend using the vanilla method here. Your GPU is supported just fine Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301015-intel-4400-drivers/#findComment-2062721 Share on other sites

KazWolfe
Okay. I added this: try with Clover : InjectIntel = True ig-platform-id = 0x0a260006 DualLink=0 Fabio I get 1080p (yay) but my screen still tears, suggesting it's a Framebuffer problem. What should my "preferred value" be? AFAIK, 10 blocks my system from booting. Any ideas? Fabio1971
What config file does this go into? With Clover Configuration and enter the data listed in config.plist Fabio Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/301015-intel-4400-drivers/#findComment-2074111 Share on other sites
KazWolfe
With Clover Configuration and enter the data listed in config.plist Fabio Got that... Now it's just screen tearing which is related to the Azul framebuffer. I think I need the right "IntelAzulFB" number. 10 and 12 do not work.
