Spaces on Tiger

Yup, I'm new, and I'm going to make a complete ass of myself by posting a possibly stupid question, but this is something that I simply must do...

I read in another thread that someone got Spaces from Leopard to work under Tiger, but that the thread detailing it got deleted. I never would have thought such a thing possible, but hey, it can't hurt to ask, right? Does it involve messing around with the Dock.app?

I'd very much like to know, because I'm not about to use Leopard until my main OS until the kinks are worked out (and there's plenty enough in my experience to keep me from using it...), but I really, really want Spaces.

And yes, I know about all the alternatives that have worked under Tiger for ages, but I want Spaces in particular, so save us both the time, and don't bother giving me the runaround :)
