samsn
Hey Guys, Right now I am trying to install Mavericks on an Asrock ION330 Nettop (Atom 330, ION Graphics). 10.6. runs great on this little Power thing. I know that there are pepole in the Board which already installed 10.9 on this Device. Now I hope they and others (with Atom and ION) may help me to get the best way to install Mavericks "quick" and fine. Which way to install would be the best (Unib..., MyHack..., ...)?I really hope you can help me. Thanks in advance! Best Regards!
aww
I have an AMD 940x4 running on 10.9.4 with patched 10.9.2 kernel, 10.9.3 is unstable for my AMD machine. you need to be able to get a stable 10.9.2 patched kernel to ATOM to begin with. Assume, you have one available, Assume, you have 10.9.4 running on a desktop, (or ask some one who has one) Use, external usb drive, connect via usb, partition it with GUID, Use CCC (carbon copy cloner), to clone the desktop 10.9.4 to the USB partition copy the patched kernel to the USB root, install Loader (assume you know which loader works with your Atom machine) need to unhide the root's mach_kernel, remove it, rename your atom_kernel to mach_kernal if your Atom machine is bootable with the usb drive, boot the usb, use CCC from the USB drive to clone your internal hard drive from USB. Install loader on the internal HD. - you have to know, which video kext to use - you have to know, which Lan/wifi kext to use - you have to know, how to install kexts, prior to boot. - 10.6 kexts will not work with 10.
