trying to activate the nF4 audio... followed the instructions TO THE LETTER and this is my error:

newpc:/System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext/Contents/PlugIns root# kextload AppleAC97AudioIntelIHC.kext

2005-09-26 00:46:04.638 kextload[332] CFLog (0):

CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): plist parse failed; the data is not proper UTF-8. The file name for this data could be:

(UNKNOWN)

The parser will retry as in 10.2, but the problem should be corrected in the plist.

kextload: /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleAC97AudioIntelIHC.kext: no such bundle file exists

can't add kernel extension AppleAC97AudioIntelIHC.kext (file access/permissions) (run kextload on this kext with -t for diagnostic output)

newpc:/System/Library/Extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext/Contents/PlugIns root#

i think you have mistyped something....root# kextload AppleAC97AudioIntelIHC.kext

should be AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext

Try delete these extensions and copy again from the Darwin CD

AudioAC97audio.kext

IOAudiofamilie.kext

AudioDeviceTreeUpdater.kext

VirtualAudioDriver.kext

Of course edit the Info.plist again with your DeviceID.
