AmorphousProgrammer
I am trying to hackintosh my pc and would like to know what to do before I begin. Also I was intending to use Niresh but am open to suggestions. I have legally purchased Mavericks too for all you piracy haters. My specs are: -CPU:AMD FX 8320 -GPU:XFX R9 270X -Mobo:Asrock 990FX Extreme 3 -RAM:8GB DDR3 1866Mhz Please help with what to do before I begin(Or atleast something that should work.) Also leave what I should put in the driver select section. Even if you don't respond with all of that please help me some way or another. Thanks a ton. ~Ethan To add on I have Windows 8.1 installed currently so if you could help with dual boot it would be wonderful but not mandatory. After I successfully install Mavericks I will be updating to Yosemite. Please excuse me if this is in the wrong section I am new. theconnactic
Yosemite won't work on AMD at this development stage - although there's ongoing research on how to add support for AMD CPUs. Try Mavericks instead, and ask help in the AMD forum: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285760-help-topic-further-help-in-chatosx86hulegacykernel-irc/ OSX is free, software piracy is not a relevant discussion on the scene now, but when you use a distro, you should first ask support from its developer.
