I've been trying to get hardware acceleration with my GPU to work but apparently I have no idea about what I'm even doing, so I figured I'd be better off asking for some guidance. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/291276-help-ati-mobility-radeon-hd-4570-doesnt-work seems to be the thread that's most applicable for my model but it doesn't seem very clear about the actual solution, ie. at one point they're talking about bootloader injection, on the next it's about doing it via DSDT. The model I'm trying to get up and running properly is a HD 4570 Mobility from ATI. Vendor code seems to be 1002, model is 9553 (1002_9553). The laptop is being using Clover. It would be great if someone could help me get this running proper. Thanks in advance. I suppose what I'm searching for is the right string of the ATI Connectors Patch which I can't seem to be able to find.
