mkofsky
I'm a video journalist working on a story for WSJ and we're looking into doing a video on people building hackintoshes. I'm based in Southern California and looking for hackintosher(s) who might be able to share their experience. If you're in SoCal--that's perfect, if not, but you're still interested, get in touch. There might be a way for you to still participate. Some of what we're looking for: How difficult is it really? How much money do you save? What are some of the strangest, coolest, or sleekist end results? Message me if you might be willing to share your experience on camera. Thanks! -Michael Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299075-wall-street-journal-looking-for-osx86-participants-in-news-story/ Share on other sites
dcai777
Take a look at the MacMods for cool ones and building steps. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/forum/295-macmod-of-the-month/ Some builders live in CA, like me. Cost is obviously the same as a normal build. kidalive
WTF does he want? Hacintoshers r around the world. The cost to build depends on your needs. That is a stupid question. Hacintosh is a hobby to everyone here. If we want to using Apple we can buy it. We use it for fun for adventure. We r geeks not nerds.
