Picasso
When I send to Compressor from Final Cut X 10.1 my HW Monitor start the Overheating alarm. One time I get 100 Degrees Celsius and I stopped the process to protect my hardware. No problems. When I send a file from desktop I don't have any Overheating and I my CPU are working around 54-60 Degrees Celsius. My configuration Mother Giga z87 ud5h - Bios F8 Processor: i7 4770K @4300 VIdeo: GTX 770 4 GB RAM: 2x8 Trident 2400 MHZ Cooler: EVO 212 with 2 Coolers in and out - Arctic MX 4 Power: NXZT 740 Watts. SSD VERTEX 4 2x3 GB RAID WB Black 1 TB OSX: 10.9.3 - MAC PRO 6,1. I have the Piker patch for Vector and C-States working fine. The only way I get for not Overheat alarm is let standard configuration in the Haswell Processor. Any suggestions? Thanks to the community . Slice
Clover has a setting PlimitDict that restrict maximum CPU frequency <key>SSDT</key> <dict> <key>Generate</key> <dict> <key>CStates</key> <true/> <key>PStates</key> <true/> </dict> <key>PLimitDict</key> <integer>3</integer> But this setting is not compatible with Pike's script.
