danerd100
Greetings, I have a Raedon 6770 Graphics card and am running Mavericks just fine on 10.9.1. However, when I made several attempts to update to 10.9.2 (and 10.9.3), I lost all graphics support (sorry if I lose track of terminology, it's been a while since I've ran into issues) and I could only use mirrored monitors (it only detected one monitor) and I had no QE/CI. I remember making several attempts to get Mavericks working properly and I honeslty do not remember which method I used to finally get my graphics working. It might have been special kexts, but I also found an EFI string in com.apple.boot.plist (and org.chameleon.boot.plist) which may be related. Anywho, is there a good way to find kexts that may not belong/may have been modified? Or is there any reason that the EFI string would have stopped working with my upgrade if that's what it was? If it helps, the EFI string that I'm using is: 4b00000001000000010000003f0000000100000002010c00d041030a0100000001010600021c0101060000007fff0400160000006200750069006c0074002d0069006e0000000500000001 Thanks in advance, and let me know if there is anything else I can do to give you more info -Danerd100 Edit: On a side note, if I'm using chameleon, does com.apple.boot.plist actually get used still or does it use Extra\org.chameleon.boot.plist only (or both)? danerd100
Thanks, I tried using the kexts in that and whenver I rebooted I still had no QE/CI. Is it possible that something could be conflicting with those?
