arathorn2nd
Hello folks, I've been converting an old budget desktop for my sister and got into a dead end trying to get audio over nvidia gt210 HDMI, a required feature. Every other feature of mavericks is working. The system sports an i3 3240 and I realized I could exchange that for an i3 3225 with HD4000 and get closer to supported hardware. Are there any pitfalls I should consider before buying the CPU? Like Yosemite compatibility or possibly HDMI audio, which seems to have good support from the guides I found Other specs: Ga-b75m-d3h Kingston 8gb WD 1tb Samsung LCD TV/monitor hdmi 1080p Thanks a lot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298720-should-i-get-an-hd4000/ Share on other sites
