Ok, I took a look at the bootcamp windows drivers. there you can find Sigmatel, intel, realtek and so on. but why doesnt a lots of hack work? eg only sound out on realtek? (ok its efi but sigmatel 9220 is workin so it should work for others) the trick is to know exactly what hardware is in a real mac so all MBP, Mac Pro, Core2Duo iMac useres: if you have one of these fine machines and want to help us please install bootcamp and windows look inside the hardware configuration or use a tool like Everest and tell us what sound cards etc. is in. what drivers are they using? i think we have to start there if we want to find a good conroe board. dongiorgio Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 HI THERE MEMBERS: theres only one board to use and the winner is ASUS ,ive played with intel,gigabyte,asrock,msi, 1 ASUS [WAY AHEAD ALSO THE BEST FOR OVERCLOCKING AND VERY STABLE ] 2 ASROCK 3 INTEL 945 CHIPSET 4 GIGABYTE 5 MAS I HAVE SETUP UP ALL TYPES OF CONFIGS FOR FAMILY FRIENDS FROM DUAL CORE TO CORE2 .
